Year 12 & 13

Economics is taught at AS and A2 level.  To take the subject no prior knowledge is required however we expect students to have a good level of English and a keen interest in current economic and business issues.  Economics provides students with an understanding of how the UK and World economies work and in particular how we allocate scarce resources.  Students will look at current economic issues and be able to explain the principle economic theories as to why they occur.  The course is supported by excellent on-line resources that provide for a flexible learning environment.
