Drama is taught at GCSE level and offers students the opportunity to explore a variety of aspects of performance, in particular producing work through improvisation and also through the structured study of play texts. The course would be suitable for a range of students, from those with prior experience of drama and a desire to develop their skills, to novices who are interested in the subject and wish to build their knowledge and confidence. Successful students have the opportunity to pursue the subject further through A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies.
